The artwork for our next release, a 12" LP, by Spokane, Washington natives
Belt Of Vapor is in the finishing stages. Laid out and designed by Matt Bogue of
Baroque Design, the jackets will be printed by the fine folks at
Imprint. Titled
"The Recluse", this is Belt Of Vapor's third full-length, and by far the most cohesive, organized, and downright righteous of the bunch. It's no wonder that they spent the entire year of 2011 recording, and mixing it themselves at the Black Whole in Spokane. It's calculated, and huge; Big hooks and blue-collar anthems barreling along with a thundering rhythm section. And I didn't even mention that first and foremost, it's a motherfucking rock album. Mastered by Chris Hanzsek at Hanzsek Audio, in Seattle, Washington. We'll be posting a track (maybe two?) in the near future
here, when we finalize a few more details with the band, like vinyl color and such. We're hoping for a January/February 2013 release, but that's all very tentative. In the meantime, get familiar with the last Belt Of Vapor release,
"Buck", a raging two-song 7", with a few copies still available on green vinyl. Uh huh.
